2017 imagery of Kaskawulsh Glacier now available

High resolution imagery of the of Kaskawulsh Glacier in Kluane National Park is now available in the High Resolution Satellites image service. This image has a resolution of 50 centimeters, and was captured in stereo on June 4, 2017 using the WorldView-3 satellite.

This image can be viewed in any Yukon Government Web Mapping Applications such as GeoYukon using the High Resolution Satellites layer, or by connecting directly to the Satellites_HighResolution image service using the url http://mapservices.gov.yk.ca/arcgis/rest/services/ in an Open Geospatial Consortium compliant GIS software client such as ArcGIS or Q-GIS

For Yukon government employees: this imagery can be viewed internally in true colour and false-colour infrared by using the High Resolution Satellites and layer files available internally here: \\CSWPROD\Layerfiles\Imagery\.
