High resolution imagery of the of Kaskawulsh Glacier in Kluane National Park is now available in the High Resolution Satellites image service. This image has a resolution of 50 centimeters, and was captured in stereo on June 4, 2017 using the WorldView-3 satellite.
This image can be viewed in any Yukon Government Web Mapping Applications such as GeoYukon using the High Resolution Satellites layer, or by connecting directly to the Satellites_HighResolution image service using the url http://mapservices.gov.yk.ca/arcgis/rest/services/ in an Open Geospatial Consortium compliant GIS software client such as ArcGIS or Q-GIS.
For Yukon government employees: this imagery can be viewed internally in true colour and false-colour infrared by using the High Resolution Satellites and layer files available internally here: \\CSWPROD\Layerfiles\Imagery\.
